It's been a couple years, but I remember downloading and playing with something that purported to be a 68k multiprocessing setup. It had a strange name like Hen and Chicks or some such... I'll have to go dig up my Powerbook I was playing with it on and see if it's still on there. The main problem is it'd require anything using it to be recompiled with its libraries, and as far as I could find at the time there hadn't been anything done. I've done a fair bit of googling without turning it up, no idea if I'm remembing the name at all right :)
