Quicktime has been around longer than AV Macs. So how, in the days before the Quadra 840av, how in gods name did they import video into Macs to make those early QuickTime movies?

I searched for like nubus cards, scsi boxes, anything that would be able to import video, but I'm not turning anything up.

How can I import video to my Quadra 900 or 800 from my standard analog camera? There has to be a way. I really want to do this just for fun, so any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks
