I have used ACARD SCSIDE "Bridge" products in my Q950 and the quite similar 9150. I have had no problem with 40 GB drives (via the ACARD). The ACARD products have been updated to include support for 48-bit LBA, so it is theoretically possible to install a 400 GB drive on a Q960. Any Q (or early PPC) Mac which can support HFS+ is a possible candidate for HUGE drives, converted to SCSI from UATA using the ACARD product. For cost reasons, the largest "real" SCSI drives I use are 36 GB (these being 10,000 rpm) or 18 GB (these being 7,200 rpm) in servers, and 4 or 9 GB in desktops. -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
