If you don't want the 'Signed-off-by' for your commits that is fine, I'll
remove them.  I have had to edit allot of commit messages the last few
weeks and it was just automatic.  Although I don't fully understand the
quibble here, can you help me to understand.

I disagree that we shouldn't use them though, I think they are good
especially when someone different is committing them then who authored the
work.  Especially if several people worked on the patch in question.
