Sorry about the long wait, ive been away for two days on an
anniversary trip.
I was thinking of using it along side another speedo, which i have yet
to find.
I removed the lighter socket because i dont like smoking or allow
smoking in the car, plus a starter button made it look a bit nicer,
ha. Which is why i wouldnt be able to use a lighter socket.
Sorry for not posting another link, i was in such a rush to get to the
train station that i just forgot.
I did find another link on ebay and their main website but didnt see
the part about it running on batteries, i though it had to be plugged
in to work.

Should give me a nice job to do over the winter and through out
university 'reading leave' along with getting the other Q on the road
and sold.
thanks also for the electrical advice, ill be drawing up some plans
over the next few days along side the other plans for the new heaters
that i have just purchased.
On an unrelated topic, Does the Mk2 xr2 speedo needle start at 10mph?
Mine has, at some point, been moved so im about 12mph out.
