I live in the Thames Valley area & nearly all the good B roads are 50MPH limits, one that used to be a 60MPH limit was regularly checked, someone got done for doing 65MPH in an MGB (he was flat out!), they have several vans & use them in the most obscure places, driving around here is not a pleasure, it's almost impossible to go out for a blast anymore. But when I go to Snowdonia the roads are fantastic & I've only ever once seen a speed camera van up there. I sold my 7 type car because it was no fun around here, the new owner lives in Scotland & only had 2 speed camera's in his county & had never seen a camera van until he came down here to collect the car.
