He used 5 or 7 pieces, i can't quite remember now if he had to use separate for the rear pillars.
They were all stitched together before being fitted to the car.

He started sticking it up across the car roughly in line with the B pillars and used a couple of T shaped bit of wood (like a very wide headed broom upside down) wedge from the floor to roof to hold it up as he went along.

Thanks for the advice guys - I've always waited until contact was dry before joining (with evo stick) and never had a problem. I tried it again and kept testing until I thought it was tacky but not wet - joined the 2 together and the roof rectangle is in place- so thanks for the help. I'll finish off the sides tomorrow at leisure, as the fumes nearly overcame me! Jim - did your trimmer use seperate pieces for the A, B, and C pillars or was the roll very wide? The roll I had was not a lot wider than the roof, but ok for length.
I anticipated cutting the felt at the screens and 'splaying out' to run down the A and C pillars, but now it's in position I don't think it will mould enough, so I may have to have joins. Regards, Martin
