Martin,
That sounds too long. What did the instructions say?
I have used Evostik Timebond for similar jobs and it has the advantage that
you can place the lining and move it around for a short time before it sets
properly. It has held carpet stuck to fibreglass for over three years now and
still good.

Hi all,
I've at last (with SVA pending end april) summoned up the courage to
attempt to fit the headlining to the saloon. Having coated the felt-like fabric
with the adhesive using a roller, and then coated the roof in the same way,
I've left it an hour to dry in normal contact adhesive fashion, and then.....
Attempted to put the headlining in position thinking I only had one chance, and
it just fell straight off - no adhesion whatsoever! Has anyone else done this
with the heatresistant adhesive from Quantum, and can give some pointers.
Regards, Martin
