IMHO the Mk2 dash suits the car very well. Anything too rounded looks odd with the body tub, and when viewed from the back with the roof down (lets face it - thats the very view everyone else gets on the road!) it lies well with the lines of the car.
Lets face it, unless you are going to change the rake and bow of the screen, the body sides and back end, why stick a rounded edge on a suitable dash? The only mods I would consider would be a round rev counter to match the speedo, and a re - jiggle of the dash warning lights. Ive put some gauges in the DIN radio slot, make up a nice centre console to mount the radio in, added a couple of DIN storage pockets and jobs done. The only other mods I've done is make and add an ipod holder to the outside of the switch panel. The old blanks have been removed and replaced with old u/s switches I had knocking around. I simply filled the indicator and legend panel with filler, sanded to shape and sprayed them black to match the surround. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
