I've seen the blue car one - it's the family I gave my tow hook too I think, was it something to do with a balloon company? Maybe I mixed different people up but I have seen it. Basically a standard dash with a flat wooden section that replaces the clock and stereo area. It looked like the sort of thing in an old triumph and was not my personal cup of tea. I think the standard dash when it is clean and in good condition suits the car ok. A bit 80s retro square cool, but hey it's growing on my like the fiat 126 and other such things I never thought I'd want! The only things different to normal ones are gauges where the stereo would be, some odd bug eye tweeters, and a later centre console which has the radio in it. However maybe I'm just getting old and square! Matthew

Then did not close the deal on a suitable cost. ( could be wrong tho ) The "samples" were sold so there are no more. 1 remember seeing three of them. 1 in my neck of the woods, one on a blue one with leather seats, and I believe "PLOP" the companies own family car. Jim susanandmartinscott wrote: There was an alternative dash from old Quantum, and although it was stated as being for the 2+2, it wasn't for the saloon as far as I know - don't know if there's a reason which I can't think of, as if they both accept mk2 dash then there should be no problem. You can make subtle changes to it but it really needs changed to update the car. Quantum are unlikely to invest in the 2+2 as they seem to be concentrating on the Xtreme. Maybe it's a project for Eddie to design a grp unit? I'm sure there would be lots of interest in it. Bob Craig (Q2-267) No virus found in this incoming message.
