Jim, you pulled the right trigger. How can I overlook a basic information input to the ecu as an airtemp sensor? As you say, it's being read to compensate for the amount of air at different temperatures in order to get the mixture right. Your remark started me thinking and in the end I pulled out the loom from the enginebay and crossreferenced it to the old one. Colour by coulor using Hayens manual and again using an ohmmeter. Two pieces of written paper along the way I found 1 wire responsible for the airtemp sensor being used for the cam sensor in the new loom, thus two sensors being at fault. (And it ran...) These two sensors are using the same colourcode: white/violet and brown/white. Haha... Rectified this and relearned the ecu for a firm drive and it now pulled remarkebly well. will see tomorrow if it stays that way.
Thanks to you all for pointing out, all remarks will be stored for further use!
