hi all, just a quick 1 (I hope) ive got a bottom rad hose but it wont fit, I think its because my pump outlet is angled upwards rather than at 90 deg to the block, so this leaves me trying to connect the rad to pump using another means but this leaves the 16mm outlet that would go to the matrix needing fitting, however I don't have a matrix and don't want one (summer car) so this would leave me connecting it to the stat housing direct but then I remembered the manifold connection too
so taking into account no matrix would it be ok to use a universal flexi from the pump to rad and just connecting the inlet manifold to the stat housing direct? it works in my head but my only concern is that the flow wont be being pumped from the bottom hose directly by the pump to the manifold on the upside it leaves me with a much simpler layout, your thoughts please p.s if ive got the flow a bit muddled up please bear with me, its been a long day and im sick of looking at hose diagrams, the crux of the matter is will the car run ok with the manifold connected to the stat housing? cheers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
