Gary, Thanks for the replies, very helpful. I think i shall try and go for standard springs, does anyone know if mk4 fiesta springs are interchangeable? Any good suppliers?
As for exhuasts I think as you suggest a custom made one may be the best, I am unsure how loud the off the shelf stainless (performance) systems are likley to be, as I want to quieten the car down a fair bit. Thanks for the tip about the lug on the exhaust, it is a poor design with no support to stop the twist, we did comment on that when first fitting the current exhaust.
