Water pump maybe as doing it later would be the same work as doing the cam belt.
The oil pump will last as long as the engine so i wouldn't worry about that.

The alternator belt is easy enough to do at any time so i'd only change that if it looks at all perished.

Ok, so it looks like it's time to get the belt changed.

What does everyone think about replacing the water pump, oil pump,
alternator
belt at the same time? The cars done 29,000 miles over 15 years and is
on the original new water pump and high pressure oil pump. The
alternator belt is less than 5 years old.

Is there anything else recomended getting done at the same time?

What's the recommended cambelt change interval for a CVH? I've seen
36,000 miles mentioned on the net, but it doesn't do that sort of
mileage, so how many years? My factory built saloon MK2 (1900cc Vulcan
CVH) is now 15 years old, and the belt was last changed when Quantum
was at Stourbridge, I guess around 2001 or 2002 ' ish?

I'll get my locally friendly garage to do the work, so I wonder if
anyone has an idiot's guide on how to change the belt? Is it question
of dropping the engine from underneath?

Chris.
