Hi Chris,

No shafts unfortunately but could one of them even be loose? Both the rear wheel nuts on the Beauford turned out to be loose when it went for its MOT and there was no direct indication. Not something I had touched during the build.

If you have not done this already then it is probably worth jacking each side up in turn and checking the run-out on the rim whilst turning the wheel. No doubt this was the first thing you tried but at least we are thinking of you! I have had this problem on an earlier car and despite what all the tyre people told me it did turn out to be a mildly bent shaft - it was one hell of a pot hole that caused the problem. Seem to remember that one build of Festa had balance weights on the drive shafts. Anyone remember the details or do we wait for Mr Herne to return to our midst?

I have a bad vibration between 50 and 70mph. I've changed the brake discs,
tyres, & wheels and they have been balanced many times. So time for more

Also DCNFs fit better in the XR2/Quantum engine bay. the DCOEs end up very
or hard against the subframe at the bulkhead.

Weber Twin 40s DCOE Matching Carbs with small trumpets. Matching
Numbers 151   242  02 on each carb. On a CVH Manifold complete with
Filter King Fuel Pressure Regulator and 4 x ITG Megaflow Filter

miles use only. I had these with a 2.0 litre ZVH engine but have sold
the engine to a Quantum Owner who didn't require the carbs. Jetted
