It can also be down to how you tighten up the wheel bolts. The taper on the wheel bolts will tend to centre the wheel on the studs. But, if you tighten one up tight (especially with a air gun) then the wheel can be slightly off centre (especially if you don't have the centring rings). When you then tighten the next bolt which might otherwise pull the wheel more central it can't move the wheel.
Fit all the nuts just nipped up and then fully tighten them all. Strangely 2 off Carole's wheels an extra sort of ring thing to make the bit that fits over the spigot and 2 have been machined to fit perfectly as they are. When one of the special rings went missing some time during a tyre replacement to a front wheel the vibration between about 55 to 70mph was very noticeable. fortunately i found a suitable replacement and the problem completely disappeared.
