Hi Doug,Ibought my Xtreme 12mths ago and encountered the same problem a very noisey diff and what I thought was excessive backlash in the transmission.Luckily I stumbled across a little used diff out of a caterham on ebay which I fitted with great anticipation.The diff is much quieter but the transmission is still agricultural to say the say the least .I can only put it down to the way the diff is mounted and the short propshaft.
