Yes they are 11 mm on calipers or sometimes 10mm Fords went totally metric
in approx 1972 so I would look for a six sided socket and pray. Good luck it
could be worse as Peugeots use 6mm with a 6 mm thread in alloy
calipers.............no chance except to break.
cheers Jon

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Brake spanner sizes
Can anyone confirm the correct size spanner for the 2+2 (i.e. ford
fiesta) brake pipe connectors? I thought they were 11mm but maybe
they are old UK size?
Also the correct spanner size for the rear brake cylinder mounting
bolts? I thought they were 10mm but maybe mine have rusted smaller as
they seem loose with a 10 mm spanner! I am having to soak them in
freeing fluid as they have been on of 10 years.
Thanks
Derek
