With reference to the low prices. I think that there are a lot of people now who see driving as a means to an end. With this in mind, they probably would not appretiate a drivers car. Now throw in the mix of the cheapest car in Britain costing just over £6500 from Nissan which to be fair, is going to be fine for the school run and work run, why would you want to spend more? We also have another issue, most kit cars are toys, these toys are expensive to run, and then we are lumped into the same bracket. The Quantum on EBay to be fair is being priced about right. The other ones on there for a few hundred quid is an insult to these cars. Also many of you may of seen an auction for a damaged nose cone. The seller claims it is almost impossible to purchase a new one. Well I think that just proves how little investigation he has done. I can produce the original or the Dynamic mouldings versions every week if needed. But of course this is an advert by potentially a non QOC member, and they are just going to price low to get rid of as fast as possible after they have had their fun. I think the best thing we can do, is work with Andy Heaton and the full committee. Make use of the agreed value insurance policies, and protect our cars.
