Looking for some help here as I cannot get my Pinto Xtreme to start now that I have changed the cylinder head. Car was running before on 40's but was smoky at start up so changed the head for one that I knew was good. Head back on and everything seems to be connected: I have fuel going to engine, I have a spark at each of the plugs and I am sure that I have set camshaft, crank timings and distributor correctly. Crank timing marks line up with compression stroke timing marks on camshaft and distributor aligns with scribe mark for No.1 cylinder. It does not seem to want to start at all. In addition, I have just checked the compression on the engine (should have done it before I took it apart, but I forgot!) and compression is not what I woud expect at 7-8 Bar, but car not turning very fast as battery starting to run low. Any suggestions greatly received.
