I had problems getting the V8 in my Xtreme to run cool. I fitted an oil
cooler, water wetter, 3 core rad, drilled holes in the nosecone, exhaust
bandage on the headers, fitted a cowl between the nosecone and the rad. In
the end I fixed it by moving the rad forward and fitting a fan behind the
radiator.

Before cutting holes in the nose cone/bonet, try driving without the bonnet
and see if it helps the temperatures.

Good luck

Its been like it for a while. I know the radiator looks like its seen better
days, so that is probably a good starting point.

I'm planning a trip to classis Le Mans next year and want to do all I can to
prevent it doing its normal trick of breaking down on the M25 !
Not that either time has been anything to do with overheating
