As someone with a 2+2 and Coupe I would say you could look at either
as a winter car. My 2+2 is me daily driver which has done 10 winters
so far and it takes a lot to get the hood to leak. Regular proofing
helps. But I have rarely had any month go by winter or summer that I
have not driven with the hood down :-)
My son's Coupe has had the Eddie treatment and is now a solid roof
again - a very nice job. But the sunroof was very difficult to keep
waterproof. Hence the decision to get rid of it. But that's one of
the benefits of Quantums, you can just keep modifying them in big and
small ways.
