Of the top of my head the issue might be:
Top engine mounting.
Clutch, you will need to mix parts between you old engine and the new.
Gearbox, the sump to gearbox bolt holes won't match up with your old gearbox
(which i'd recommend using) but probably not a problem as the CVH doesn't
have any bolts there.
Possible inlet manifold to bulkhead clearance problems if it's got the big
plastic manifold on the new engine.
When i get my workshop built (once the weather is warm enough to lay a
concrete slab) i'm putting a Focus ST170 blacktop in a H4 so will have a
better idea there.

Every so often, engines are offered on eBay for affordable
prices...currently £750. They are said to be Black Top Zetec produced
@2002 for use in the 2002-2004 Focus limited edition sport. Apparently
complete, capable in standard tune of producing 135 bhp, with "the
whole package" aimed at us, the Kit Car owning / buying / building
fraternity.
My H4 has a very ordinary (ie adequate) 1600cc Zetec which runs very
nicely...but at 85bhp is hardly heart threatening in terms of
adrenalin input. Would one of these 2 litre motors fit in place of the
1600 without too much messing about ?
