Your thinking of the Duratec. The blacktop Zetec isn't that different to the silver top, it was just an updated version of it.

I'm not sure but I think the " Black top Zetec " has the exhaust at the back of the engine not the front. My H4 has a 1995 2lt mondeo engine, about 130 bhp when it was new. They are said to be Black Top Zetec produced @2002 for use in the 2002-2004 Focus limited edition sport. Apparently complete, capable in standard tune of producing 135 bhp, with "the whole package" aimed at us, the Kit Car owning / buying / building fraternity. My H4 has a very ordinary (ie adequate) 1600cc Zetec which runs very nicely...but at 85bhp is hardly heart threatening in terms of adrenalin input.
