I'm sure the Sierra upright isn't the same as the Mk2 Fiesta.

Indeed the early MK1 type Mondeo has 4 bolt wheels, hence so will disc and the later 2001 on will have 5 stud fitted. I actually have a Mondeo and have a spare caliper together with a Sierra upright (same as XR2 ) so give me a little time and I willl find out the details. Should be right up my street as I do a Dolomite Sprint vented brake conversion and have done over 70 and Sprints from New Zealand to the States run them and they are based on my own design and using the Ford 239 mm vented disc set up as a base.
Cheers Jon

That is mainly about Mk3 Fiestas. Mine is based on a Mk2. Are they the
same?

Also, there is a comment about Escort RS2000 discs (presumably Mk5
(FWD) not Mk2(RWD)). Does anyone know about that conversion? Is it
easier or better in any way?

Can I presume that all the ST24s are the same, because that model
spanned two models of Mondeo didn't it?

Subject: [Quantum Owners] More Mondeo Brakes!

To extend the other thread, which has lost the subject a little.

I seem to remember that it was possible to fit Mondeo front discs and
calipers to the fiesta hubs, to get bigger brakes.

Does anyone know the details? i.e. which model/year of Mondeo and
what, if any machining is involved?

Are the rears left as standard, or do they need upgrading to preserve
balance?

Dave
