Hi, all Is there a known problem with starter motors on XR2 engine??
I'm on my 4th start motor since getting the car on the road in August 2010. I replaced the starter motor with a recondition one in August 2010. This worked fine untill August 2011, this was replaced under warrenty with another reconditioned unit. It was replaced in October 2011 with a brand new unit. Now its getting difficult to start (second attempt) and yesterday started making a whining noise when turning the engine over. Any help appreciated.
