In the end I went for the gas shock version of standard. The first side, when I was working out how to do the job took an hour and a half or so, the second one took 40 minutes. I am amazed at how much we, as drivers, correct for faults on our cars. I hadn't realised how bad the handling had got. 2 Shocks, 2 top mounts, £100 and a couple of hours and it is like driving a different car. The Fun is back in my motoring. Mark Miles
