If you’ve a lot of play and are hearing clicks from the pedal then it’s
probably the ratchet is worn and is jumping a few teeth before it catches on
some good ones.
Putting spacers under the cable doesn’t work as the adjuster just compensates
for them.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Re: 2+2 Clutch adjustment

I've got the same problem with my clutch as mentioned in the 1st post.

Also, when I press the peddle it travells a bit before pulling on the cable. I
have so far put some spacers on the cable at the box end. This hasn't made any
difference. The adjustment clicks every now & then but doesn't change.
I'm having to double press the peddle at times, at others even more so.

I've read the previous comments, but don't understand why I've got play in the
peddle.

2+2, with a new clutch (from what the seller told me)
