The answer is, the same colour as the original one for the dash. Otherwise, it’s a question of try it and see. The gauges were matched to the sender (or the other way round) when the cars were built, there are 4 or 5 different colour pairs.
If the Ecu came from a Mondeo then yes, if it came from a Escort or Fiesta then no. The Mondeo one will need buffering with a relay.
