Fan output should be on pin 13, a Black/Blue wire. It’s an active low output which means that the ecu earths that pin when it wants to run the fan. You need to connect this output to one side of a relay coil and the other side of the relay coil to an ignition switched supply. Otherwise, it’s a question of try it and see. The gauges were matched to the sender (or the other way round) when the cars were built, there are 4 or 5 different colour pairs. If the Ecu came from a Mondeo then yes, if it came from a Escort or Fiesta then no. The Mondeo one will need buffering with a relay. Which is the correct part for the mkII fiesta dash (1.4)? Also, is there an output from the ecu to drive the cooling fan(s)?
