After getting another flat battery on my Saloon, I really need to replace the exciter diode that plug into the wiring from the alternator with the proper diode. The original one fell apart and was replaced with the best option I could find in Maplin, but this has failed twice.
Can anyone help me locate one as per the attached photo, or suggest a suitable replacement? It's cold in the Xtreme at this time of year!
