I was just getting my own back for your earlier comment I don’t think a fibreglass car has a scrap value, i expect most scrap yards would want to charge you to get rid of one, especially if it had no engine/gearbox. In this case, it sounds like spite, if he can’t get his price for the car he’s going to cut it up rather than sell it at a sensible price. Hopefully he will see sense, remove all the expensive parts from it (my feeling is he probably already has) and sell whats left at a sensible price. Not nice for Eddie but it’s always a risk when you sell a car.

Joe showed me a paper with all the mk1 cars and their owners, most of the cars are "missing in action" or wrote off. It would be nice to keep the ones that are left going.
