Hi Stu, Finally sorted, this consisted of replacing the clutch cable, pedal quadrant & pawl (including spacing modifications) which initially did make it slightly better but the quadrant kept clicking & finally reset itself so was back to square 1 so I decided to bite the bullet & have the clutch replaced...success, now drives perfectly! I was informed that the clutch which was removed was in very good order but was however a performance clutch which are not really suitable for daily driving & are either in or out so that didn't help the situation. All I need now is sunshine & some new tyres & happy days...although I would personally like to change my alloys for something a bit more retro & slightly less 90's 5 spoke but 14" alloys in a decent design are proving to be a challenge to source!
