I had exactly the same problem when I bought my 2+2 short stiff springs are not any good on our third world roads that are also speed bumped. With I took the advice from Jim Hearne to use Fiesta 1.4 standard front springs and standard 1.1 Fiesta rears and its plenty hard enough as the car is lighter than a Fiesta. These springs were bought new of Ebay. I was not out of the woods yet because the shocks were not quite right and I was lucky to get a complete Spax adjustable set in very good condition again of Ebay. The car clears all bumps and is also a riot on track. Good luck
