Probably even higher springs than XR2, the same ride height as the 1.4 springs commonly used on the Quantums But, ideally, i still want them uprated, I'm happy with the ride, i just need more ground clearance. I'm a bit worried about putting standard springs on uprated shocks that would usually be used with lowered springs. I've a recollection of somebody in the past having problems with the tops being knocked off of shock absorbers.

When i get a chance, my thought was to contact Gaz or a similar company to see if they can make some custom shocks with longer shafts and maybe uprated springs to match.
Really, though, i need to gather together the specs i need first.
Does anybody have any details of the ratings and lengths of standard Ford springs ?

Jim

Thanks for that Jim. Saves me trying something that isn't going to work.
Do you have an idea as to what you might head towards. Jon states in a previous post that spax adjustable shocks seem to work. Would you be hoping to use standard XR2 springs?
