Hi Burtons should know rates as XR2's were and are still raced quite a lot.
Standard springs on a lighter car such as the Quantum would become uprated
by default. I would not want my car to be any harder on springing as it
would break my teeth!
My standard XR springs were too low so the car grounded a lot.
Jim, you wanted my standard springs a while ago and as I still have them you
are welcome to them and as I am going to Curborough on the 21st I can bring
them if you still want them. I dont want any thing for them as you have
helped me big time since I have had the car.

tops being knocked off of shock absorbers.

to see if they can make some custom shocks with longer shafts and maybe
uprated springs to match.
Really, though, i need to gather together the specs i need first.
Does anybody have any details of the ratings and lengths of standard
Ford springs ?
