Bad luck Neil, A bit late now, but did you try contacting the seller before it ended to explain it was your old car and would he sell it off ebay. I know it’s against the rules but many times people will, nowadays if it’s something you want it’s worth asking even if the answer is no. I’ve never had anybody report me to ebay though one or 2 sellers have added my message to the questions bit on the auction which is a bit embarrassing.
