On ebay I always decide the maximum I am prepared to pay, and bid that amount with 5 seconds to go, as hate waiting days to find out, so I either win or lose very quickly? I know it’s against the rules but many times people will, nowadays if it’s something you want it’s worth asking even if the answer is no. I’ve never had anybody report me to ebay though one or 2 sellers have added my message to the questions bit on the auction which is a bit embarrassing.
