It should fit on the original gearbox but you will need to change the flywheel
to one from a smaller engined Zetec that had the IB5 gearbox.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] MTX75 Gearbox into a 2+2

Hi,

Has anyone ever fitted an MTX75 gearbox into a 2+2?

If so, does anyone have any photo's / dimensions etc as to how and where the
chassis needs modifying and how / where the mounts fit / what mounts to use?

I'm trying to fit a 2.0L Zetec out of a Mk1 Focus into my 2+2, originally
thinking that I just needed to swap the engine, but it wont fit on the original
gearbox, which is a pain. As a result, I've got no reference points as to where
the engine and box need to be mounted onto the Quantum chassis.

This is turning out to be an even bigger job than I imagined!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Keith
