Yes, that's exactly what I've got. Don't suppose you have any experience
fitting one of these / photo's showing where / how to modify it?

If yes then part of the sump webbing needs to be trimmed to get the
starter in. The Silver Top engine is much easier to fit.

Hi Jim,
I thought that as well originally, however now I have everything in
bits on my garage floor, I find that the webbing / framework at the
bottom of the Zetec engine does not allow me to get the starter motor
into the bell housing on the original gearbox. Also, on the other
side, similar webbing clashes with the driveshaft.
It is possible to remove the lower part of the engine block but I
really don't want to start splitting the engine up and start working
on the internals - This is one of the reasons I'm swapping the CVH out
as I don't want to re-build it again.
Hence why I'm now confronted with having to put the MTX75 box in.
Any advice?

I'm trying to fit a 2.0L Zetec out of a Mk1 Focus into my 2+2,
originally thinking that I just needed to swap the engine, but it
wont fit on the original gearbox, which is a pain. As a result,
I've got no reference points as to where the engine and box need
to be mounted onto the Quantum chassis.
This is turning out to be an even bigger job than I imagined!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
