What age is yours? I produced loads of receipts etc, total £8600, and they said that as I'd not restored it the value was 4k, they usually value at the parts cost! I then said it doesn't need restoration, I built it to new condition and it's only done 10k miles since build in 2009, when the parts cost was £8600. They again said 4k. Maybe they are all valued at 4k?
