Mine was built in 1993. It had a new engine and box in 2000 (I think). It has been a sort of rolling rebuild since then.

I produced loads of receipts etc, total £8600, and they said that as I'd not restored it the value was 4k, they usually value at the parts cost! I then said it doesn't need restoration, I built it to new condition and it's only done 10k miles since build in 2009, when the parts cost was £8600. They again said 4k. Maybe they are all valued at 4k? Despite all the copy receipts etc, and the fact it was registered and built by me in 2009, they are sticking with that figure. What have other owners found?
