Thanks Andy, Your efforts on this are much appreciated, so I am not complaining just puzzled and trying to get it straight. I would have expected a membership number to be required for a club insurance. Maybe I got the wrong idea, but I thought the AF policy was a club policy. If I understand your reply, it's just the regular offering. (10% off on a club membership declaration) I also note it's an offering without recovery unless you make sure it's included. Or is all this a call centre problem?
On the licence details. They are asking for a photocopy of all pages of all drivers licences. (but again I think of ID theft here) I have never been asked for it but I would be happy to give them a number they can confirm with DVLA. But what would they want with the full copies in this day and age? Everything is on computer records and controlled access. (unless you are a hacker!) PS Footman James did quote a lower premium this year compared to last, on the same package so seemed to be trying to retain our custom.
