Hi Russell/Chris, Given it a go and found that the lock has moulded grooves top and bottom. It seems that the said plate needs to be fixed from the top down. However there is a hole in the opposing half of the plate. I still think I'm missing a part. Does the plate accept a bolt that is used to fix( my means unknown) to the rear of the lock shaft? Yours comments would be appreciated.
