Bingo? Found two additional relays (with integral fuse ?) never seen these type before, tucked up way out of sight above the heater vent piping. One with a very doggy fuse that had been getting hot for some time with the looks of it. replaced complete relay with same type and new fuse hey presto running again. Shame its raining now don't want to get my car wet. Boy is it tough lying upside down with yer head in the foot well? Thanks to all for your interest, idea's and info,
