You may find you can just pull the switch out or use some gentle levering with a screw driver.
They normally just have a couple of spring clips that hold behind the panel.

If you try to pull the window back up something will break, it has to be powered by the motor.
The mechanism has a worm gear and you can't work a worm gear in reverse.

If you can get the switches out then swap one side to the other, i'm assuming it's the drivers door window.

The normal Mk3 Fiesta mechanism's used on the 2+2 are rather prone to failing but usually it's the cable that breaks and then the window will only work in one direction and it's free to move in the other.

Didn't budge. Would it hurt it I put a bit more effort into it? (I don't wanna
