It depends which console has been fitted but there are usually a couple of
screws at each end near the bottom.
But, you shouldn't need to remove the console, just pull or gently lever
(old kitchen knife) the switches out.
No, you can only move the windows under power, if you try to move them
manually something will break.
When i said cable i meant the steel cable that lifts the glass up or down,
not electrical cable.
The motor in the door has a drum with steel cable wrapped round it that goes
to both sides of the slider that the glass is fixed to.
It either pulls the glass up or pulls it down depending on the motor
direction.
