From: Chris Sent: Friday, 27 May, 2016 1:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Quantum Owners] KITTY 98 Continued In my Very recent experience (as my cvh overheated alot aswell) it was a combination of; Sticky thermostat Fan switch Fan switch plug (go for a standard fan switch with blade connectors to the loom, so cut off the Ford plastic thing) Notchy knackered fan (got a new 12” one from Car Building Solutions) Fan Earth wire was dodgy, so I ran a new one direct to the battery. Cost – Less than £ 100. This fixed ALL the overheating problems. This was all Very simple stuff to do. I use my Saloon everyday as it’s my only car doing about 12,000 miles a year. Where in the country are you? Maybe someone near can help?
