I think about £8 for a 4ft x 8ft 1inch sheet. All you have to do is peel off paper from one side and tin foil from the other - it releases a horrible smell when you do this! The other option is to us the spray type foam - just squirt some in and it will grow (massively!). If you restrict it eg quickly put some parcel tape over it before it expands it will end up more dense and probably a better shape for your purposes. If the wheel arch on the other side is identical you could take a mould off that and pruduce a new arch.
