Before dim dip was installed there are no relays for the switch, the switch feeds the headlights directly via the fuses.

Dim dip introduced 2 relays that aren't in the main fusebox, they are either in holders (blue and white to match the relays) that clip to the side of the main fusebox or i seem to remember some where clipped onto the door pillar next to the fusebox.

The 2 relays connect the headlights in series if the sidelights are on and the ignition is on.
Removing 1 of the 2 relays disables the dim dip but i can't remember which.

Subject: Re: [Quantum Owners] 2+2 Lights

May be a daft question, but where are the headlight relays. According to Haynes they are not behind fuse box.

Andy, to save me searching as I'm short on time and daughter using car at the moment, where is the column earth?

Also looks like the hazard problem is a separate issue. If I play with the switch they work. May be catching the shroud.
Thanks
Nigel
